Julie started her carreer in 2002 i Denmark, when she came in second in the tv-reality show Popstars. At the time she was living in Aarhus, where she moved to from her mother-land Greenland, studying to become a doctor at the university. Singing had been her hobby and her dream from when she was very little, and she saw this as an opportunity to see how far she could get with it. In other words,- give the singing a chance. It turned out to be just excactly what she should have done a long time a go. But everything in it..s time, as Julie says. She released her debut-album "HOME" in 2003 and has since then released "JULIE" , "ASASARA" (greenlandic word for "my love") and is currently working on her fourth album to be released in september this year of 2008. This time in her first/second language danish. As she says,- "it..s time to make something different and something new. If I had made the same as the three earlier albums I would..ve been bored. I..m sure I won..t disappoint my fans, this is going to be a fantastic pop-album!" -with a living and engaged smile. Besides the singing Julie is very much into making changes in communities and countries contributing with her name, face, person and work.
