William Fitzsimmons’ new record Pittsburgh, is a collection of songs about the city he was born and spent most of his life in. The gift of music is something Fitzsimmons credits his mother and his grandmother with passing on to him. In October 2014, his grandmother passed away and during the three days spent putting her to rest, Pittsburgh, the album, was born. The seven songs are in memoriam to her and in remembrance of the city they shared.
