May the 27th meet Cory Goldsmith to deliver his single techno release "Wanderrust" along with the remix from Demon Noise & Andrea Signore to Made In Brussels! "Wanderrust" is about various journeys I made during the height of the pandemic to feel less isolated rather than spending time alone in my one bedroom flat. While I highly enjoyed traveling (as safely as possible) during the time, the general feeling of being in places once so full of life being full of a shared sense of despair and emptiness invokes a lot of conflicting emotions. Such emotions gave way to the title track "Wanderrust", which I think sums up the highs (the percussive grooves) and lows (the melodic break) of my travels. The second track "Gubin" is about a small town in Poland I drove to from Berlin. The town has an old cathedral in it that had been destroyed from war, and I primarily wanted to depict the visual of that cathedral musically.
