Perth based Alt-Folk artist Riley Pearce shares his song "Nostalgia" off his debut album "The Water & The Rough." Written before and during the pandemic, it possesses a depth of experience delivered through wafting melodies and quietly introspective lyrics, creating an album that seems at once peaceful and restless. "Nostalgia" is the sound of Riley pausing to recall the feeling that washed over him a few years back when he and his brother returned to a beloved childhood holiday spot. "Jurien Bay is where I first started busking," Riley says. "I’d play songs at the local market and my little brother, who would’ve been 5 at the time, would sit on a seat holding my music in front of me and I’d buy him a packet of footy cards for his efforts."
