Awacs aka Richard Sallis and Soul Intent go back to the early 00s when they launched Brutal Recordings together along with a number of Nottingham based producers under the collective alias Dataset. Though the label was short-lived Awacs and Soul Intent remained close friends and then out of the blue Rick sent over some demos and these tracks were snapped up for a rolling techstep two tracker.
