PanCake is what happens when three Berlin based producers collaborate on their joint love for lo-fi beats and old school gear. By combining the lo-fi bedroom aesthetic, vintage studio equipment and a penchant for recording their own samples PanCake achieves a sound that is recognisably different. "When we were writing and recording the song, the chords kept reminding me of the times when I used to leave my dorm building in college in the morning to grab breakfast with my friends. When the weather was good we’d get a sandwich and sit outside and enjoy the morning sun and talk about music. It always felt like a beautiful start to the day".
