JUNO-nominated singer-songwriter duo Ocie Elliot release the title track from forthcoming EP, What Remains.The melody and music for this song came whilst drifting off before one of the band's first and only shows of 2021. They had just checked in to a hotel (something they hadn’t done, for a gig at least, in well over a year) and had time for a quick rest before heading to the venue. For whatever reason, right before a short sleep came, the song which is now ‘What Remains’ appeared in Jon’s head. It’s a song about losing someone you deeply love and the feelings of trying to get through and live with the sadness and emotion that loss brings to life.
