Originally released on Pye Records in 1972, this album has never been available since. Roy was a very gifted English jazz musician who during his career as a film composer learned how to orchestrate. Although he did not have a classical music education, Budd soon became a very accomplished arranger and conductor. When suggested that he record an album with a large orchestra, Roy was very excited about the project as it gave him an opportunity to show off his orchestral skills and as a musician, which he was always willing to do.
