What is a “man” and what is it that I’m aspiring to be? And if my father wasn’t going to be that kind of role model how can I model what am I meant to be. Maybe I’m no man at all. Maybe it doesn’t matter. Stay present. Stay open. Stay strong. I often feel that society has a really warped image of what a beautiful man is. Or what a man/gay man even/ should look like. And I believe in trying to open that definition so I can find more room in myself too."
