'Feeling Without Touching' EP. Their sound here seems so apt for 2010, revising the vintage futurism of no-wave disco pop with a canny blend of heartfelt nostalgia and cliched pop truths that seem to operate in a time zone all of it's own. 'Feeling Without Touching' uses tangibly fizzing analog synths and muffled drum machines in classic Glass Candy style, while the fuzzy euphoria of 'Sugar & Whitebread' cracks out a natty sax and crimson glowing synth pads for one of their most nuanced compositions. However, the highlight must be the droning instrumental 'Shine Like Gold & Diamonds' which falls next to Oneohtrix Point Never or Emeralds for sheer synth drone bliss in miniature form.
