Drums on Fire is a collaboration between two master drummers from two corners of the world--British James Asher and Indian Sivamani. Asher's driving percussion, Sivamani's ecstatic rhythms, and occasional melodic flutes, saxes and guitars create an album with both pulse and heart. Features dozens of rhythm-producing instruments that range from djembe, bazouki and taiko to buckets, birdcalls and Sivamani's own chant-scat.
