John Hayes is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hayes previously performed regularly as the resident pianist for the award-winning Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. John currently writes, records and produces music out of his studio in Denver, Colorado. "I've been listening to Robert's music for quite some time now, when I found out we were new label mates, I had to see if he was available for this project. John explains, "I was ecstatic to hear he was onboard and his remix had me entranced from start to finish." "I really connected with the original track by John so when I reimagined it for the remix I wanted some elements from the original to shine through while still taking this a little deeper into my own sound universe." Robert recalls, " I recorded some of Johns synth sounds on tape, found a loop I liked, and started composing around it. Most of it was written working on headphones so it has that "eyes closed/deep listening" vibe that can really transport you if you allow yourself to sink into it."
