After the live performance in 1987, which was later made into a CD as "Electric Cool Acid", the original member Tetsuya Sakamoto left and White Heaven became a four-member band consisting of You Ishihara, Michio Kurihara, Soichiro Nakamura and Ken Ishihara. For one year in 1988, the band spent their time in the studio doing sessions and experiments. The album "Levitation" is a collection of material from the missing link between Electric Cool Acid and the recording of their first album "Out" in 1990. The album was released in the US in 1997 in a limited edition of 700 LPs, but sold out soon after and is now hard to find.
