Blues Lee's second solo album lets you explore through the music of Blues Lee like the title itself. It includes total of 9 tracks, 7 originals and 2 cover tunes, which display diverse colors of composition and instrumental techniques, not limiting themselves to a certain genre.
1. I'm here
- "Here comes Blues Lee~!" This first track opens up the album with Blues Lee's unique funky sound.
2. Blue wave
- Bright tide and blue crash. As the album's title track, this track lets you feel the rising waves through High G's tense arpeggio sound.
3. Sunny island
- A track created from fantasizing of the beautiful islands of Hawaii, this tune impresses the audience with a sweet melody over a cheerful 8-beat rhythm, quite distinct from Blues Lee's standard style.
4. Love of my life
Unlike Queen's original version of fancy instrumental composition , this cover tune is arranged with only the sound of ukulele which allows you to focus on the harmony of four strings.
5. Nature sand
This track expresses the wandering mind of dispersing sand among the windy weather with its addictive consecutive three chord variation. The ukulele solo over the bass line splendidly stands out.
6. Morning dew
As a wonderful Korean pop-song "Stone island" was arranged for the first album, Blues Lee chose "Morning Dew" for this second album. Water drop and morning dew, this mermaid themed track contains charming sounds of beautiful piano melody and bass line.
7. Hone funky
Like eating or drinking alone, this track is about funking out alone (혼 Hone: alone). You can witness Blues Lee's funk instrumental mastery.
8. Yellow shell
A tune written while thinking about his daughter telling him she wants to go shell picking at the beach. Vivian, Blues Lee's wife, participated in playing and composing the second part of the track.
9. Starry night
Reminiscing the stars scatter over the night sky, this track catches the ears of the audience with its four-finger tremolo technique based performance.
