A tribute to Mongolian composers’ songs from the 20th century, Born Retro is a groundbreaking rework project initiated by several musicians and Aydu Records started in 2022. Born Retro Vol.1 EP (2023) was one of the most creative reworks of the 1960s five songs conceptualizing in soul, pop, chill-hop, whereas Vol.2 comes with six pieces different pieces from 1960-1980s seamlessly blends traditional Mongolian music (khuuchir) with contemporary jazz, brought to life by a fusion of talented jazz musicians and the virtuoso khuuchir player Tsendsuren.
