九夏三伏 , pronounced "Kyuka Sanpuku", means the hottest time of the summer. Hirotaka Shirotsubaki and Gallery Six have teamed up to narrate an emotional description of summertime in Japan using their unique approach to instrumental ambient music. Track names and their descriptions from the artists: 1. 朝顔咲くまで - Asagao Sakumade Until the morning glory blooms. From this track, we imagined early summer, when morning glories are about to bloom. 2. 蕭々 - Syousyou This word is used to describe the sound of rain, wind, and flowing rivers, as well as the desolate state of the sound of cries. 3. 鶯音を入る - Uguisu Newo Iru When the warblers stop chirping in late summer, after the breeding season has passed. This phrase means the end of summer. 4. 夕凪に舟 - Yunagi ni Fune Yunagi means that the condition of no wind in the evening, when the wind changes from sea breezes to land breezes. Fune means boat.
