'Amy' was written by Will and Nick while sharing a flat with "a group of deflated musicians" during the summer of 2020, the worst of the UK lockdowns. Channelling a retro sound with jangly guitars and vocal harmonies, it has a strangely optimistic feel. Lyrically it both romanticizes and bemoans the life of a musician; "It’s an ode to struggling songwriters and was maybe the most fun track to record. Almost every musician friend we know is playing in the tape loop at the end."
