Singer-songwriter Emily James began writing her own music when she was 10 years old, inspired by such musical influences as Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, and Adele. James spent time in Brooklyn during the summer of 2019 visiting friends and family and it was a time she kept reflecting on during the pandemic. Her self-proclaimed COVID escapist song, it's about dreaming of being in another place and falling in love at first sight.
