The band was founded by Óscar Orjuela in 1986. Long-time bass player Carlos Olmos currently lives in Miami, Florida, United States. They were, along with La Pestilencia, the opening act for Metallica during their first concert in Colombia on May 2, 1999. On May 2017, the band announced their disbanding and played their final show at the Rock al Parque festival on July 1, 2017. In 2019, Óscar Orjuela announced the release of a new single with a new lineup.
