My friends said sing! I said Really? That's how it started. I joined bands, became a session singer, then a lead singer did a few tours, went clubbing wrote some tracks, got a record deal. Then another big life change, got interested in Buddhism, became a student of DJKR studied hard. Guru said "make Dharma trance" So here I am!" Gary is an British singer, songwriter, and record producer. Over his four-decade career, he has developed an trance-like musical style that draws on a wide range of influences and genres spanning electronic, pop, experimental, classical, trip hop. He strives to offer his time and energy to make music through transforming the traditional Dharma music that merged with the contemporary time, for the benefit all sentient beings. Gary start with the The Heart Sutra 10 years ago. Since then he has written quite a bit of music under Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche's guidance including a few more Dharma trance tracks and most recently some atmospheric music featuring DJKR’s latest film Hema Hema and a track called OM Ye Dharma featuring the Indian singer Vidya Rao.
