Bleeding Through played its first show on July 10, 1999. The band announced its break-up in January 2013, along with a series of farewell tours that lasted more than a year and a half, until August 2014. The band played a one-off reunion show on February 13, 2016. The band next started practicing together and writing new material in late 2017, officially announcing its return in January 2018.
