A born and raised Chicagoan, producer/DJ Smoko Ono has become a pillar in the production of Chicago's thriving music scene. As a component of the hip-hop collective Savemoney, Smoko has collaborated closely with fellow members Vic Mensa, Chance the Rapper, Towkio & Joey Purp, amongst others. Smoko is best known for his hard-hitting production of “U Mad”, the Vic Mensa-helmed track featuring Kanye West, and also produced Chance the Rappers “I might need security” Outside of production, Smoko's career as a DJ career has seen him spin around the world, as well as host his own events in Chicago. To close out a successful 2017, Smoko delivered the boastful pregame anthem "Superstar Moves" with fellow Savemoney affiliate KAMI. At 24 years old, Smoko Ono has already created an extensive portfolio, but he’s just getting started.
