BFRND is a French music composer, since 2017 he is responsible for all Balenciaga show soundtracks. He is known for pushing the boundaries of music genres. In 2023 BFRND started working with French producer Damien Quintard, Co-founder of Miraval Studios, their first presentation took place in October 2023 at the occasion of the Balenciaga Summer 24 show in Paris for which they have worked with Isabelle Huppert and the Paris Mozart Orchestra. In December 2023 the duo presented their second output at the occasion of the Fall 24 show in Los Angeles with Crossroads, a genre bending machine mixing dark trap beats and hallucinogenic melodies accompanied by a voice over made of fake radio advertisements recorded by voice actors.
