In the spring of 2019, the Danish indiepop/rock band Lumine released their debut EP “Bewilder’s Bliss” - written and recorded by themselves in a dark basement during the fall and winter of 2018. In their new single, Aimless Hopes, the band experiments with several new facets but maintains the same “D.I.Y.”- mentality known from their general creative process. The piano tends to be the cornerstone in Lumine's compositions, and it’s in the meeting between keys, static rhythms and ambient full-bodied tones of the guitars that the band’s distinct sound arises. Through folk inspired vocal harmonies, the music is united with lyrics revolving around aspects of the human experience such as doubt, overthinking, and the irrevocable nature of time.
